| Self-made teaching equipment is becoming increasingly important in the experimental reform and the improvement of the quality of high engineering education. The research and development of teaching equipment arises much attention to many universities. Self-made teaching equipment can effectively adapt to different teaching needs and improve teaching quality, and has been regarded as one kind of embodiment of the quality of higher education. Lots of research works have been done in different universities. China University of Petroleum has also begun the related research works. This thesis includes the designs and development of one kind of teaching equipment for intelligent instrument and a data acquisition instrument.According to the demands of the research topic, the intelligent teaching equipment should have the function that it can show the inner structure principle and the conversion process of signals of the instrument such as temperature, differential pressure, vortex flow transmitter and so on. It will help students understand the theory learnt in classroom and improve their abilities of practice and instrument development. Therefore, the software and hardware are all designed in modularization. In the design process, the interface circuits used to output and display the intermediate variables were added. A simple, clear and easy-to-used demo panel was designed, which overcomes the difficulties that the existing automatic instrument experiment cannot help students understand the working principle of the instrument.As a supplement and improvement on the accuracy of the data acquisition of teaching equipment, a 16-bit multi-channel data acquisition instrument was designed for the signal acquisition of temperature, pressure and flow transmitter. Data communication between the data acquisition instrument and computer was completed, which extend the content of the intelligent instrument experiment.Modularization design method was employed in the development of the instrument. The instrument was divided into different modules and been developed respectively. Besides the basic function of an intelligent instrument, the developed equipment has the function of teaching demonstration, and it basically achieves the predetermined goal. |
