With the rapid development of mobile communications business, digital cellular mobile station, such as radio communications equipment is applied more and more widely. Ministry of Industry and Information said, the number of mobile phone users in China reached to 6.08 billions as of July 2008. Universal rate close to 50%. Such a large number of users and a variety of businesses dependent on a large number of mobile network, while the core of the network is base station. To protect the normal operation of communications networks, national radio management departments purchased various models of equipments, to test base station manually or single. Traditional manual testing brings complex, heavy workload, poor consistency, man-made factors on the influenced test results. Such a single automated test system can not adapt to the radio management information requirements.In order to standardize the testing of base stations, to improve the efficiency of the test. Based on Guizhou radio management department's business needs on the base station radio transmitting equipment. In this paper, ueses the most common GSM and CDMA2000 base station, adopts the automatic test system concept that combines the GPIB interface and virtual instrument technology, developed a generic, flexible, low-cost, automatic generation of reports of radio equipment automated testing system .Main tasks of this paper:①Analyzes the domestic and foreign research of automatic test system, carry out an analysis on the status quo of the test mode of traditional and information-based detection of radio equipment. Put out the necessity and feasibility of the establishment of Guizhou radio base station management transmitting equipment testing.②Analysis and research on the GPIB interface bus and VISA Virtual Instrument Technology, to support the automatic test system Guizhou radio base stations transmitting equipment.③Complete the overall system architecture design, database design, GPIB communication module and test planning module's design, take the GPIB communication module as an example, gives a deteail design of the system.④Based on the formarl design,realized some modules of Guizhou radio base station management transmitting equipment testing system, such as GPIB communications, file management, test planning. ⑤Analysis the operating results of Guizhou radio base station management transmitting equipment testing system.⑥Summarized tasks done in this paper, give a furture view of Guizhou radio base station management transmitting equipment testing system.
