Heilongjiang province is located in frigid zone, it is the main soybean production area in our country. Soybeans of Heilongjiang play a decisive role in soybean general trend of our country, experts hold that there will be a big increases spaces. But because of many factors, the productions in our province still linger in a low level. So, in condition of soybean industry face the severe challenge in our country, it is a very effective measure to provide an opening, intelligent and dynamic soybean service platform use information technology for soybean growers.So, the paper expounded study and implementation soybean intelligent service platform based on PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) for soybean growers in code area used information technology and artificial intelligence. Intensified carrier function of new PDA, broke limitation of system, fused the information of variety selection, pest control, balanced fertilization, soil climate, market prince and video on demand, encapsulated and trained to meet user completely.(1)In the aspect of general construction, optimized Client/Server development model was used to divide the general platform into two parts, the client based on PDA and the server based on PC. It used thin client to design database and all algorithm processing module in server. That improved the system speed and implemented zero mending in client basically.(2)ln the aspect of implement of decision reasoning, semantic network and Bayesian network were used to represent determined and uncertain knowledge to make rules and models more normalization. It proposed intelligent reasoning mechanism. It used reasoning in the network and exact reasoning in Bayesian network to improve the speed and precision of system reasoning.(3)In the aspect of system implementation, Visual Studio 2005 was used as development tool based on Windows Mobile 5.0 environment, fountain model was used to make development more flexible to improve efficiency.(4)In the aspect of key technology implementation, the paper made detailed description about key technology which was used in the system platform. Optimized A* search algorithm was used to improve the speed of searching information; remote communication technology based on TCP/IP was used to realize remote data communication between PDA and PC; mobile middleware was used to shield difference of operating system and network protocol to realize converting and dealing data between different platforms; data safety protecting mechanism made sure of data consistency when updating and recoverability in mistake. It used AES encryption algorithm to comprehensively ensure the safety of general system.The implementation of soybean intelligent service platform in cold region base on PDA provided a mobile digital assistant in field—M-PDA which was convenient and fast, economical and practical and with ability of strong interaction. Soybean growers searched quickly for many kinds of soybean planting technologies, science knowledge and new information were realized. Many scientific videos were on demand. The knowledge of authoritative soybean experts was used to guide soybean growers to product scientifically and avoid yield reduction because of human factors. The technical problems in soybean planting were solved in time and right detail decisions were provide for soybean growers. It realized zero relation between soybean experts and soybean growers. The information which soybean growers could not find sent back as message will be replied scientifically and exactly in short time.
