The wireless communication channel is time variable and brings great influence to the system stability. Modeling and simulating for the wireless communication channel is of great importance to the design and the research of the wireless communication systems. Therefore, conducting researches on the wireless channel has theoretical and practical value.The dissertation embarked on the propagation characteristics of radio waves, researched on the radio wave propagation model of wireless channel and the channel parameters, the mobile small-scale fading channel model which may have a major impact on the base-band signal processing have been studied;On the characteristic of wireless channel we searched and produced a mobile simulator based on FPGA. And we focused on the simulation and justification of flat-fading channel and frequency selective channel.Mathematic model is studied carefully here, including the influence of its parameters. This dissertation is carried on these basic points.1. A brief introduction on the history of wireless communication was given at first. Studied on the propagation environment, introduced three main infection on wireless channel : free space path decrease, shadow fading and multi-path fading. Basic models are analyzed, concretely steps was carried out to the method of SOS (Sum-Of-Sinusoid) and shaping filter.2. Software simulations were carried out, and its result were analyzed in comparison, analyzed the main parameters that have been used in simulation.3.Putting forward an FPGA based reprogrammable mobile channel simulator. And studied carefully on its main technology method. The simulator can simultaneously simulate the characteristics of narrow band wireless channel. Such as time delay, Rayleigh fading, Doppler shifting and so on. Its main parameters fit the requirements well. The simulator is simple in architecture and fits widely, and can be integrated or partially integrated into the receiver for testing and teaching.
