The war in 21st century will be modern war that is information-based and electronic-based. Because many types of electronic equipment are used in the modern battlefield, the electromagnetic signals will be very dense, and form an extra complicated electromagnetic environment. For satisfying the requirement of modern equipments development, project "XXX" simulates a real-time battlefield communications environment in some sense by generating a high frequency-band, ample patterns, high-density electromagnetic signals in inside or outside proving ground, which can provide authentic technical proof to finalize the design of equipments and train the army.This paper introduces research and realization of standard signals generator which is a part of the project "XXX". Firstly, this paper introduces the design idea of Software Radio and correlative theory, such as digital generation of signals etc. Secondly, the whole design scheme is introduced, and the chips are chosen by the design scheme and briefly introduced. Then, principle and structure of CORDIC algorithm is introduced, error of algorithm is analyzed, output precision of algorithm is discussed, and FPGA realization of algorithm is provided. Finally, the control to AD7862 and AD9957 is accomplished in FPGA, and the signal's interpolation is designed and realized in FPGA, further more, the parallel-to-serial conversion and some modulation modes such as AM, FM ,2ASK, 2FSK, QPSK are accomplished in FPGA.
