Radar simulating system in electric countermeasure is a half practicality and high real time simulating test system which consists of many subsystems supported by computer network , and can fulfill either radar counter equipments RF inject simulation or open simulating test tasks. This system can simulate simple or complex radar pulse signal form of ground, airborne and missile borne radars to do the interference or radar tests. The signal simulator is the key part of the whole test simulation system. It should accomplish various signal simulating tasks of many kinds of radar according to the requirements and fulfill the simulating tests of many kinds of radar signal cooperated with other systems.The design idea of the traditional radar signal simulating system is based on the single radar simulation. The designers ascertain arithmetic flow according to the background and customer, make the design of high-density and multi-signal radar signal sequence . The final aim of real-time high-density and multi-signal radar signal is to output more pulse in stated time as possible, also to achieve integrality and coherence of pulse by software arithmetic design. At present, above thought can achieved by high-speed process equipment, high-speed IO equipment and ping-pong output design.New techniques are applied sufficiently in the process of design to meet the requirements, such as using ETX high-capability computer system, processing by blurry and stat arithmetic, applying VxWorks real-time operating system and so on. The real time and generality are upgraded by applying these techniques. This paper expatiates the application of these techniques.
