The main content of this paper is research on the testing of laser parameter. The study developed an intelligent laser parameter measuring instrument that takes surplus SPCE061A microprocessor as the core. It can measure the laser power and single pulse laser energy.This paper first introduced the study's origin and background as well as the goal and significance of the system, and proposed the functions that the system should realize. Then the principle and the processes realized by hardware for the laser power and laser energy measurement system were elaborated according to the function design of the system. The paper explained how to use the method of linear subsection interpolation to adjust the measuring error and how to design the system's software. It found out the factors influencing the measuring accuracy of this system and proposed the methods for eliminating these factors. After associated testing of the soft/hardware, the function of automatic power control (a real-time check method for laser power) was realized, and it proved the precision of the obtained average laser power satisfies its design requirement (error < 4%). By adjusting Q-switched Laser, it obtained that the precision of laser power and laser energy under different frequency condition also satisfies its design requirement (error < 4%).
