One of the challenging work in computer art research field is to simulate the traditional painting, especially in water-ink painting, it is still in its infancy. Referencing the foregoer's research achievement, this paper explores several key issues in the simulation of Chinese painting deeply, set up a correlative simulation model, gets a satisfactory simulation result.Fractal theory is a science newly developed in the past 20 to 30 years, it can describe roughness and irregular geometric shapes in the nature or in non-linear system.Fractal theory is extensive applied to many fields,such as mathematics,social science,computers art and so on. In consequence, the research on fractal theory has both important theoretical significance and extensive applied value. In this paper, by using fractal algorithm, it gets the elements of image what have to process.It takes advantage of Visual C++6.0 the better user interface and mighty computer programming technology, designs the software which to generate fractal images. It proposes a paper model based on physical structure, at the same time, it proposes an improved water-ink diffuse algorithm based on particle system. After that, integrates system, makes a complete simulation system. At last, transplantes and optimizes the code in the DSP platform.This paper combines the fractal theory and the computer simulation technology, exploits the field of the computer simulation in water-ink painting, achieves satisfactory results.
