In recent years, Dual-band frequency communications equipment develop more and more. For example mobile communications equipment and wireless LAN equipment, they all have dual-band frequency. In Communication Networks device or Integrated Circuit device, antennas are to be used. If we make use of dual-band frequency, adopt the way of a band frequency corresponding to an antenna, it will lead to a waste of space and materials. So people's concern of the dual-band antenna study is growing.The first part of this paper described dual-band antenna technology, which includes using a single patch to achieve multi-mode/dual-band method, using reactance loading patch to realize the dual-band antenna。Then three different frequency antennas are designed simulationed and measured. In the above three types of antenna, The first two are the dual-band frequency microstrip antenna design (W-CDMA and WLAN antenna), take the method of loading slotted impedance to achieve dual-band frequency antenna. The third one is a three-dimensional structure (Mobile communications antenna) which adopted a dual-loop manner to achieve a dual-band antenna. In the second part of this paper how a dual-band base station antenna baffle-board is studied. The main contents of studying are different baffle-board shape and with the same area and different angles impact antenna directionality. Simulation is used as the main research measure. Baffle-board antenna is simulated for different shape and angle in order to get right shape and angle.
