GUI Design And Development In DVD Embedded System

After GUI was invented, the world changes a lot. The interfaces between human and machines are richer and more colorful. The applications of GUI in DVD players in digital entertainment bring the users more pleasures. A set of methods that suit the development of the GUI applications in DVD embedded system, is important to save the project's time cost, and also important to improve the quality of the project. Thus, how to rapidly develop the GUI applications in DVD embedded system that accord with the requests of the users is the main purpose of this paper.By using the RAD model of the software engineering, the GUI applications of DVD embedded system were taken part into smaller ones. These smaller parts were assigned to several different teams, were developed asynchronously. There are steps followed: "Screen pack up", "Screen analysis", "Screen design" and "Screen implement". By using DVDStudio, each step was fined into several phases. Every phase has its goals and documents to be made. The documents in every phase are the basement of following phases.By apply the flow described in this paper, we achieved the goal of measurement of the software developing, which lead to the apply of the schedule of the project, lead to develop the GUI applications of DVD embedded system efficiently, lead to develop the GUI applications of DVD embedded system with high quality, lead to gain more incomes.
