Small and medium manufacturing industry as one of cornerstone our Industry, how to overcome difficulties of technology and management, and how to accelerate upgrading industries by applying advanced methods of management and technology become an important problem under the pressure of changeful global market.The paper analyzes the problems of incompliance of process and imprecision of data in the development of small and medium enterprise currently, and analysis the process of bicycle enterprise by applying some methods, and raise solution in business optimization.Then it thinks over the characteristic of diversiform and distinct product management, apply applied configuration method base on reuse of knowledge. In the same time, it uses the clustering method to solve the problems of configuration redundancy and explosion, to reduce the amount of product configuration; apply the composite function to extract configuration materiel.In order to increasing the data veracity and automation levels, the paper design pattern matching methods at large to solve the problems of purchase, fabrication order and production activity and so on.The paper research some important problems of ERP system for manufacturing enterprise from most optimum distribution of resource by cooperation and organization of enterprise, develops a bicycle enterprise ERP system base on software engineering and C/S mode(Visual Studio 2005 and SQL Server 2000). The system has been run and solved the main problems in a bicycle enterprise successfully. It proves that the theories and methods are feasible and effective.
