| Underwater Acoustic Sensor Network(UW-ASN) will play an important role in the three-dimensional marine environment monitoring system. Now, it has been becoming the hot and frontier research issue. But it is difficult to test the performance of UW-ASN because it is deployed in the underwater. UW-ASN experiment platform will provide a reliable and flexible way to measure, analyze and debug for the UW-ASN. Fatherly, it will be applied to research the network topology and communication protocol. So it is has important significance for the research of UW-ASN to develop a flexible and highly efficient UW-ASN experiment platform.. UW-ASN experiment platform is composed of the system management layer, the monitoring network layer and the underwater node layer. The Front End Processor System (FEP) is a core in the monitoring network layer, which connects the system management layer and the underwater node layer. Its performance directly affects the whole system operation.In this thesis, whole structure design of UW-ASN experiment platform is introuduced firstly. According to the design purpose of the experiment platform, the requirements of function and performance of the FEP are analyzed in detail. And the overall design scheme of the FEP is proposed. Furthermore, an UW-ASN simulation system is designed. It provides an easy way to commissioning and testing the performance of the system management layer and the monitoring network layer.The FEP includes three key modules: the network communication module, the remote communication module and the human-machine interface. The network communication module takes charge of the data exchange with system management layer by using multicast addressing technology based on UDP protocol. Remote communication module links underwater node layer, which supports CAN and RS232 communication mode. The man-machine interface module provides friendly interactive interfaces for users. In this paper, The key technology, such as object-oriented design & programming, multi-thread communication ,share memory and WinSock communication are applied to the detailed design of system, and the detailed interface explain is given .According to simulation commissioning scheme of FEP, the working principle of simulation system, simulation process and design and development of key modules are introduced in detail. The key modules include node component, the simulation of multipath underwater acoustic channel, discrete event scheduling module and scene management module, etc. The debugging between the FEP and simulation system includes the link test mode, sensor testing data mode and network communication mode. Simulation debugging primarily validated the reliability of FEP.In the end, the thesis summaries the entire research work of FEP, points out some existing problems and provides some further improvement suggestions. |
