The filtering performance of Active Power Filter is better than Passive Power Filter, It can realize harmonics restraint in large power situation. According to the topology structure of main circuit, design the control circuit. It includes design of locking signal circuit, lacking phase detection circuit, locking phase and frequency multiplication circuit, and PWM pulse-width modulation circuit. In order to let the active power filter could be used in three-phase four-wires circuits, a new method of harmonics detection is given in this paper, which is based on mature method of the instantaneous reactive power theory. The zero-sequence current can be removed by this method. Firstly, Simulation model of 400V/100A parallel active power filter is established based on Matlab/Simulink and simulation results are gained.Then programs are compiled by the DSP2407A. Finally, experiment system is built. Test waveforms by these experiments shows that the method is correct and effective.
