Recent years, Internet based on IPv4 protocol has been flourishing,whether the scope of the network coverage and network capacity or the number of Internet users and business types is in the rapid growth.So the amount of available IP address is less and less under IPv4.Some of solutions to IP address crisis begin to be widely used.NAT technology is a short term solution,and it is the most common and effective solution to the shortage of address.The thesis firstly analysises of the computer network reference model of TCP/IP, and studys on the principles and process of Network Address Translation, then puts forward the design of software structural and practical solutions; The thesis designs and implementates the function of joining dynamic Network Address Translatio with Network Address Port Translation; Simultaneously makes a test and gives the test environment and the results of the test;Finally,the thesis discusses the issues of through NAT based on P2P network.
