In the modern electronic warfare, as a new jamming technique, TRAD (Towed Radar Active Decoy) becomes an efficient way against PD (Pulse Doppler) radar seeker. The future millimeter wave mono-pulse Doppler radar in our country will confront grave challenge from TRAD. Therefore, it is valuable to study how TRAD for millimeter wave mono-pulse Doppler radar anti-jams in TRAD interference environment.This paper, based on Barker signal processing of PD radar, has analyzes the theoretical methods of characteristics of anti-jamming of TRAD and the realization of these techniques.The main achievements are as follows:1,This paper has discussed the present domestic and foreign development of the jamming theory of decoy jamming. It also analyses the characteristics and limitations of TRAD to PD radar, and tactical properties of TRAD. In addition to that, in this paper, indicates the technical and tactical limitations of TRAD and gives a demonstration on feasibility of the proposed method on TRAD for millimeter wave mono-pulse Doppler radar.2,In this paper, establishes signal model about mono-pulse Doppler radar seeker interfered with TRAD, the jamming model and varieties of mathematical models during the processing of signals and information. On the basis of these models, designs the related parameters of guidance radar.3,This paper gives computer stimulation on varies jamming types of TRAD. On the basis of these theatrical analyses and stimulation experiment results, presents the discrimination methods of TRAD.4,Presents an efficient scheme on anti-jamming of TRAD for PD radar.The innovations of this paper involved:(1) Presents a new method how to distinguish carrier airplane from Towed Decoys by spectrum line on azimuth and elevation dimension, which efficiently solved how to distinguish decoys under the different air warfare circumstances (pursuit,hear-on) and varies TRAD jamming types(simple transmitting,range pull,velocity pull,range and velocity pull). (2) For the requirements of Towed Decoys and weaknesses of traditional single-gate tracking, presents a new method about multi-gate tracking on range -doppler dimension and angle centroid tracking, which efficiently resolved tracking keeping during targets identification.
