Noise class jamming is the research object of this paper, because it is similar to thenoise within the receiver and is no need with the prior knowledge interfering signalparameters. As an effective way to against the mono-pulse radar, TRAD (Towed RadarActive Decoy) has been researched by more and more scholars at home and abroad.Based on high range-resolution stepped frequency radar seeker model and highspeed-resolution mono-pulse PD radar seeker model, as well as combined with theTRAD and the Noise Jamming, the effects of Noise Jamming against to the TRAD arepresented. In this paper, firstly, the jamming principle of TRAD is presented, as well as thefactors affect the radar seeker model. Secondly, the principle of Noise modulationjamming and the impact of mono-pulse angle measurement are analyzed. And then, depending on the operational environment, three kinds of radar anti-jamming methods(W-limited–narrow, Fourier transform, Adaptive frequency agility interference)aredescribed in this paper; Finally, missile-aircraft-TRAD’s simulation model is established. The simulation is made by the modulation signals and no modulation signals which aresent by the TRAD decoy. The effect of towed decoys with noise class jamming is notvery good.
