Design And Implementation Of Mobile Learning Platform Based On SCORM

Mobile learning was produced by the development of mobile computing technology and wireless communication technology,it has become an important way for learning because of convenience on learning at anytime and anywhere,more and more people have started to use mobile phone,PDA and other mobile terminal equipments for mobile learning.Mobile learning provides convenient,flexible,mobile learning environment for students,but it also has some problems in the process of development.It's a problem that lacks of appropriate norms in development of mobile learning resource and construction of mobile learning platform at present,and there are differences in mobile terminal equipment in many respects such as hardware performance,software performance and network performance.These cause difficults for sharing and reusing mobile learning resources,and restrict to the development of mobile learning.It becomes a key problem of research that explores the construction standards for mobile learning resource and learning platform.We carry out exploration and research in order to solving the problems above. Firstly,analyze construction standards of digital resources.Secondly,analyze SCORM and characteristics of mobile learning.The SCORM is a mature model of e-learning technical specifications.Finally design and develop mobile learning resource and mobile learning platform based on works above.These works solve the problems in sharing, reuse and interoperability of mobile learning resources,as well as put forward the research ideas for standardization of mobile learning.This thesis researches the definition,content,theoretical basis of mobile learning and key technologies for developing mobile platform,mainly focuses on the needs for standardization of mobile learning.Analyzes the guiding role of SCORM for development of mobile learning resource and mobile learning platform,and analyzes the application forms of mobile learning,mobile terminal equipment,equipment features, supported media types,as well as the characteristics of mobile learning resource,then designs architecture,functional structure,database and users' cases of mobile learning platform,summarizes principles and ways of development for mobile learning resource and develops example.Introduces function realization of SCORM mobile learning platform based on the works above.The platform for mobile learning environment is divided into offline and online,respectively develops two learning environments by using different technologies, realizes the standard verification,parsing and playing of the SCORM mobile learning resources,and realizes comments of mobile learning resources and analysis of learning situation.The standardization research of mobile learning resource and mobile learning platform are the emerging research field in the world,this thesis carries out research of mobile learning resource and learning platform based on SCORM and achieves initial research results.These have a certain reference values and promoted roles for standardization of mobile learning.
