The infrastructure is placing in the rapid development period in our country, large-scale infrastructure makes the data of geotechnical engineering investigation sharply increases . Therefore, that how to save and manage these data to make use of them, is becomes problem of the worker. Along with the development of computer, the application of various compute software system is more popular, among which, an important application system is JHCAD(JIHUA CAD) which supports graphic function . An important function of this system is that it can display all kinds of graphs of geotechnical engineering investigation. Because JHSCAD's structure is bases on the C|S , and it can't be publishing directly in Web, it needs one web graph publishing system to visit these data. At present there are many ways of graph's web publishing graph ,includes: ActiveX controls, Flash, Bitmap, Java Applet and SVG And as a superior vectors graph format, SVG is more suitable to be the standard graph format in web publishing.SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) is a kind of XML-based, W3C issued by the opening of the two-dimensional graphic description language, based on the texts of the image format, has a strong capability of mutual. IEC Technical Committee 57 Article 13 Working Group launched the IEC 61970 standard system, which prescribe SVG is the international standard for graphics, laid a foundation for a wide application of SVG in geotechnical engineering investigation Software's Graphical Interface.This paper analyzes the requirement of the geotechnical engineering investigation publishing system particularly and confirms the function modulus of the system based on analysis. The paper describes the frame of the web publishing system and explains the important design of other modulus. The paper also analyzes and designs the critical function of the system. In the materialization, the paper gives the materialization and sample of the major modulus and functions. At last, the paper explains the foreground of the system.The system realize the function that transform Geotechnical engineering investigation data file formats into SVG graphics file and publish graphics on WEB using SVG, the client only needs to install a plug-in Adobe SVG Viewer procedures available. This system provides some help for the user of geotechnical engineering investigation system to access graphical.In this paper, describes the commonly used method for publishing Web graphics, and analysis these method of advantages and disadvantages in-depth, and lead into SVG graphics format introduced as geotechnical engineering investigation of the Web Publishing System release format graphics.Based on the requirements of the geotechnical engineering investigation system to identifies each functional modules.
