This paper introduces the theory and technologies about the construction of FOG strap-down navigation system with the SOPC technology based on the FPGA. Considering the strap-down inertial navigation system's requirement and the project application, the paper uses FPGA as the core component constructing SOPC embedded navigation system. Using the SOPC method to design the embedded navigation system on FPGA, which the present situation, that the general processor, DSP+MCU (CPLD) form dominate the navigation computer design . The design which the software and hardware coordinates may have custom-made the nature and more appropriate to suit the strap-down navigation system for the handling ability and the connection ability requirement. Also it has great application value and the broad application prospect.The paper firstly analyzes the characteristics of FOG, such as small size, high reliability, low prices. Based on strap-down inertial navigation basic theory, using FOG and accelerometers as sensor and from the project application's point of view, we propose the entire design blueprint of strap-down inertial navigation system based on IP core on the FPGA component, and give the SOPC navigation system's top layer hardware architecture.Then, in view of the measurement of navigation parameters, the paper completed the hardware system design, including the design and realization of signal processing circuit and data sampling circuit. In order to raise the sampling speed and the precision, FIR (limited impulse response) digital filter's hardware design is realized in FPGA. According to the simulation result, the design satisfies the design requirements.Subsequently, in view of the SOPC constructions embedded system, for its software construction and the system initialization has much difference form the common personal computer. By debugging and testing, the proof is feasible, the design has made some beneficial progress, has provided certain foundation for the further project application and the development. |
