With the development of the Optical Fiber Communication, the transmission speed of the information is faster and the distance of the communication is farther, and the negative effect of the Polarization in the Optical Fiber Communication System can no longer be ignored. Therefore exploring the nature of the Polarization in the Optical Fiber is very important to solve the problem of the limitation to the Polarization in the Optical Fiber Communication System. The key is to research the generation and detection of the Polarization in the fiber.A generator based on the theory of the Birefringence effect in squeezed fiber is gave; as there are too many components in the traditional polarization detection, a four tunnels Stokes detection system which its structure is simpler is gave.1. After investigating the situation of the research on the Optical Fiber Polarization Generator and detection, gave the basic theory of the Polarization Generator which based on the Birefringence effect in squeezed fiber and the four tunnels Stokes detection idea.2. A Optical Fiber Polarization State Generator System is built, which include a Optical Fiber Squeeze System based on simulation and a Piezoelectric Ceramic(PZT) Driver which its output between 0 and 200V, and its rise time is "us". The system can output any polarization state, and also can response well when the input is low speed (1 KHz).3. A circuit that can transmit Optical Signal into Electrical Signal is designed.4. According to the theory, the four tunnels Stokes Detection System is built and tested.
