To upgrade the service`s quality, increase the flexibility of receiving scenic spots`data and reduce the cost of scenic spots`service, Ad Hoc has been applied to Electrinic guide based on analysing its peculiarity, architecture, key points and relevant protocols in this paper.Electrinic guide system is composed by base node fixed on each scenic spot and mobile node handed by tourists. Firstly, the base node send a net_building command, the mobile nodes respond it and build a route table each. Secondly, the base node send associated data to mobile nodes. Finally, tourists can decode the data and play it. In order to decrease rate of conflict, this paper come up with busy_instruction MAC protocol on basis of existing two channel MAC protocol.MSP430F149 MCU was selected as the processor and nRF2401 single chip was chosen as the radio transceiver to develop Ad Hoc nodes. The software of net and nodes was developed with C language to accomplish data transfer, and to reduce the power consumption of nodes. The test result indicated that the communication between two nodes under some barriers can reach 40m the time_consuming from net_building to receiving all data is about 15 seconds under 8 nodes and 5M size. According to analysis and testing, we can draw a inclusion that the electrinic guide system can reduce the cost and increase the flexibility. At the end, this paper figure out some deficiencies and give imaginations of working in the future.
