With the rapid development of high performance computer systerm,the high speed interconnection technology has become a hotspot of this field.An interconnection network with high speed will bring a great performance promotion to the high performance computer systerm.But in practice,the traditional electric interconnection was brought forward.Based on study and analysis of the present optical interconnection networks,comparing the disvantage and advantage of each other,a new inter-processor optical interconnection networks based on waveguide was put forward. This systerm uses waveguide to transmit high speed data signal, and completes controlling with flexible electrocircuit, which integrates advantage of both kinds of interconnection networks.The author took a 2×2 interconnection networks as an example, and designed a hardware platform for the systerm as well as did some simulation and test based on this platform. In this paper, author described structure of the whole systerm in detail, including transmiting media waveguide's structure and coupling method, design of the high speed Print Circuit Board, and controlling systerm with relevant software source. At the time of designing, we also preserved certain space and interface for advanced development in future.Finally, we debug and test the whole systerm, making sure of the data switching between four chips correctly. At the end of the paper, autor offered a well prospect of this project and made out the next plan in near future.
