Research For Integration Platform Based On IFC Standards And The Application Of Glass Curtain Wall Design

With the tremendous development of Information Technology, its effect construction industry has become more and more significant. Combined Information Technology, construction industry will experience a rapid and landmark development.IFC (Industry Foundation Classes) standards which was defined by IAI (International Alliance for Interoperability) is in fact the standard of project data exchange in international construction industry, which also provides a common language between construction software and sharing information. Extensive applications based on IFC standard have been implemented abroad. However, supporting platform for construction design has not emerged in China yet, which undoubtedly restricts the development of Chinese construction software.This paper takes curtain wall as example to research the application of IFC standards on the design of glass curtain wall. After analyzing the problems and the future of curtain wall design, combine IFC standards, and then presents a solution of glass curtain wall design Integration Platform based on IFC standards. After analyzing the theory and method about integration, this paper presents system structure and important function module of Integration Platform, then researches the key technology about actualizes of Integration Platform. After discussing information expression of glass curtain wall and information collection of building elements, the paper presents the method about conversion between different data exchange files of IFC.The key issues covered in this paper are:1.
