It consists of the core layer, the pool layer and the Access Layer. It makes the network design between two area where was connected their own core switch safe, stable and data security.People have to do a large of simulation and analyses when they design the structure of the computer and communication network system, and the network project and design, this paper introduces advanced network simulation software OPNET. Some staple software have been compared and analyzed, the form and characteristic of OPNET, the method and the process of network simulation have been produced, and gives an application of the OPNET in the LAN project and design too.
