In the entire AS/RS, this text emphasizes on the structure constitution and working principle of movable shelf, and through the optimum combination of classification conveyer, vertical elevator of the type of tray and stereo shelf, then realizes the independent movement of ware location and location and tracing to cargo by using power driving roller conveyer and barcode recognition technology, and summarizes that the shelf has high efficiency, low loss and granting first in first out and other characteristics.The paper simultaneously introduces the stratified ABC classification method to carrying stock management. The text introduces the classification standard of ABC classification method and according stock control method of different category cargo after classification in detail, and describes the classified steps of stratified ABC classification method, and applies this method to the warehouse management of medicine industry. Simultaneously, the text introduces ant colony optimization algorithm, and make it as definite method of picking tour, then establishes mathematical model separately according to the operation principle of movable ware location shelf and ordinary tunnel stacker shelf, and finally aimed at two models to makes simulation experiment through applying visual basic programming language, and obtains the results which has confirmed the feasibility of the model and also confirmed the time and space advantages of movable ware location shelf which explains that the feasibility of the operation principle and high stocking efficiency of movable ware location shelf.
