Mixing and extrusion molding have been two independent and important steps of polymer processing, with the rapid development of rubber and plastic industry as well as other polymer material industry, especially the wide use of rubber plastics blends, the requirement for the performance of the internal mixer is higher than ever before, kinds of new-style internal mixer come forth. To resolve this problem, we put forward a new-style continuous mixer---mixer & extrurer incorporate machine, The equipment, on which the process of mixing and extruding can both be finished, has the advantage of both internal mixer and extruder. To solve the disadvantage that present continuous mixing equipments can't mix massive and poor flowability material.the equipment can mix massive and high treacliness material. The following research work on this equipment has been done:1. Analyse the mixing effect of the new-style two-wing synchronous rotors,the pinned two-wing synchronous rotors and the two-wing functional synchronous rotors with ADINA software. We specially analyse rubber's flow while mixing and dumping to research the rotor's mixing and dumping capability.We approve the two-wing functional synchronous rotors suitable for mixer & extrurer incorporate machine requirements.2. In the experiment we find that eatting materiall result of single screw extruder is bad, we finish the extruder part structure design of the mixer & extruder incorporate machine, design cone twin-screw extruder and print all the draws to have them produced by factory.3. We design cone twin-screw extruder and simulate extruder part of mixer & extrurer incorporate machine, and compare the two extruders.4. Three rotors with different configuration were designed and contrast experiments for the designed rotors and traditional rotors were performed. At the same time, the optimum process condition for the rotors and the optimum process parameters for the mixing process were discussed in this paper. The analysis result shows that functional two-wing synchronous rotors are best for the mixing effect and the pinned two-wing synchronous rotors are the second, which also proves that the connecting theory analysis is correct.5. Contrast experiments for the two extruders are done.During the experimental process we find the eatting materiall result of cone twin-screw extruder is better than that of single screw extruder.The research in this paper show that the developed mixing-molding integrative machine is feasible.We realize the first improvement goals through improving mixer & extrurer incorporate machine, and it is useful for the development of the industrial equipment.
