During the periods of the traditional society,or in other word,of the economy of deprivation,with the bounds of poorly economical situation and the lacking of commodity and merchandise,the space of performance of the consumption,as well as the methods of communication is limited.With the approaching of the industrial society,especially the rising of the post-industrial society,the commodity and merchandise is getting more and more plentiful and diversified;the disposable income of the people is getting more and more.This is the possibility for enlarging and expanding the consumptive space,which is certain to enhance the yield of the new consumptive environment the consumptive society.Nowadays,we are in the state:the consumptive space is gradually inflating,the commodity and merchandise is relatively surplus and excess,and the desire of the consumers is getting stronger.Confronting the background of this sort,advertisers,marketing and mass media are throwing themselves into the action:creating a social scene to encourage,instigate and seduce the consumers.The Middle class female who enjoys being free and rich,therefore has enormous potential of consumption comes into our eyes.They are such a people who stand at the finial the waves,which cause the advertisers to develop newly active field of consumption.At the same time,the Middle class is lost at the sea when meets the question of its own identity and status in the society.At this point,the advertisers and media have the tacit collusion.The fashion journal catering to the meets the needs of the white-collar female a special sort of the Middle class.Then we can see two scenes:the well-known brands of the finery,cosmetics and so forth and so on gain the profit,while the Middle class female realizes the purpose of being sure the identity and status.At the background of the consumer culture,this paper attempts to through a brand-new perspective,and through analyzing the specific tests to find how the female fashion magazine put the meaning in culture world into goods,meanwhile,we study the methods that the magazine has used to lead female readers' consumption and see how they finished the symbolization process and achieve their goal.This paper adopt by content analysis and analysis method of study on empirical research,the purpose is analyzing the specific tests at the basis of the empirical research,and reveals the essence of the phenomenon from the macroscopic level to micro-level.Through the study,we found that women fashion magazines use narrative,switch mode to manipulate each element,the significance of cultural world successfully transferred to the commodity,portrays the ideal of female image,so readers are rooted in lots of goods,the value of the symbol strait and the illusory words, readers firstly worship the female model,then worship the goods and finally guy the goods.
