Research On Active Mechanism Of Services Discovery Based On Active Services

As the development of open web application and services oriented computing technique, the form, the mode of production, the mode of operation and performance about software system has got a great alteration. The future software system will running on the environment which is based on a series of software services worked with each other. The Web Services is a representative of this kind of new web software system which is based on the cooperation of software. And based on the Web Services, the experts proposed a new Web Services - Active Services, which by add active mechanism into the Web Services. Active Services use Active Services Discovery Mechanism to assemble the services dynamically. How to implement the requirement oriented services discovery and keep a relative higher usability and reusability at the same time is very important in the improvement of the efficiency and performance about the Active Services.This article begins from development state of Active Services and Services Discovery, analyzed the service description and search method systematically and deeply. And aimed at the deficiency in the semantic description of the Services Discovery System, this article propose a new services description and discovery mechanism which based on the ontology and semantic web technology. Based on this new mechanism this article build up an ERP (Enterprise Resources Plan) oriented ontology and implement a prototype active services discovery system. The work of this article include: It researched the present status and technologies of Services Discovery carefully; It proposed a semantic services description method by include in the ontology and semantic web technology; It analyzed kinds of present services match method and improved current services match and discovery method by include in semantic and rule-based reasoning mechanism; By bring in semantic reasoning engine-Jena and search engine-Lucene, this article build up an ERP oriented prototype active services discovery system and proved it is effective by the experiment.
