With the development of shipping automation and the application of the computer simulation technology,the shipping simulation training software has gotten a more wider developing space.In order to meet the needs of training seafarer for the semi-submerged ship,this thesis developed simulation software for the semi-submersible ship's monitor system.This simulation software takes windows 2000 as the developed platform and Visual C++ 6.0 as the developed kit.The research method and process are described carefully in this thesis.The main work is showing below.1) Introduced the semi-submersible vessel "Tai An kou" which is the simulation object.Then established its hull parameter model,equipment model and task processing model.2) This monitoring system used the methods of software engineering and the object oriented design.Its network mode took C/S structure.Its network communication chose TCP/IP protocol and Winsock technology.It has two kinds of database.One is memory real-time database which is the core of the whole system's data processing,data organizing and managing.It is used to store the variables that will be update real time.And the other is historical database which storages the data in the SQL Server database by ADO database accessing technique.3) Described the framework and functions of this simulation system.And designed the system's principle chart.Based on the object-oriented developing environment Visual C++6.0,the author used several advanced techniques and methods,such as the process communication,Memory-mapped file,dynamic link library,multithreading programming,multimedia timer and so on.Realized the simulation of some systems' monitoring and alerting which included ballasting system,ship power plant,F.O system and L.O system.The core functions of this simulation software are monitor data's real-time operation and control.The software takes full advantage of the existing LAN resources,supports remote monitoring and controlling,and provides opening API functions.It has a good openness and practicality.This software has been tested in LAN.Its running condition is well.
