With the rapid growth of electronic technology and the development of science and technology, LED display screen has been developed very quickly. They are widely used in many fields such as telecommunications, finance, traffic, gymnasium, etc. As the same time, people's demand of LED display becomes big size, high uniformity, high display quality, and long life time. The generic ICs for power management are not suit any more. Therefore a new special driver IC for LED becomes the main part in people's research nowadays.This thesis introduces a high consistency 16-channel COMS LED driver IC. Its input voltage ranged in 3.3V-5V. The output current range of each channel is 3mA-45mA and can be adjusted. The high clock frequency, 25MHz, also satisfies the system requirement of high data transmission. This thesis also introduces the modules including input modules, SDO output module, bandgap reference module, current regulator module, OTP module and so on.The simulation has been completed by using the Cadence software with the 0.5um COMS process. And the effective area of the chip is 1320*1500um P2P.At last, the testing result shows that the stable output current can achieve 55mA, output current error is less than 1%, the current error between channels is less than 3%, the maximum working supply voltage can reach 5.5V and the maximum clock frequency is 30MHz.Therefore, the performance in application is excellent and can meet the prospective specifications.
