In May 12, 2008, the 8 magnitude earthquake shocked Wenchuan, Sichuan province of China. This is the strongest and the most extensive disaster in our country since the founding of the People's Republic of China .The native medias effective rapidly to report the earthquake, the excellent reaction was praised by public and the foreign medias. At the same time, the foreign medias took objective reports about the earthquake rather than negative reports as they used to do.The paper selects the New York Times and China Youth Daily to analysis the sameness and difference of the Wenchuan earthquake reports between these two newspapers, and compare with the reports of their used to do what differences there are.The text is divided into four chapters:The first chapter explains the research background and purpose, and scope of the study.In the second chapter, looking back on the disasters reports research, and discuss the frame analysis.The third chapter analysis the wenchuan earthquake reports by New York Times and China Youth Daily to explain what the consistent and difference between them, and how does it produce.The forth chapter gives a summary ,we can find that Humane Care, Information transparency and Information on the disaster of two newspapers are consistent.
