Nowadays,intelligent shift control of AMT is the direction of development and research in the automatic transmission area,and how to gain reliable information of vehicle is the key factor of achieving this object.As serial bus protocol,CAN offers a simple structure,real-time capability, as well as a mature technology widely used in latest vehicle electronic control systems.The main work of thesis is concerned with the application of CAN in AMT system.At the beginning of the thesis,with an overview on the technique of vehicle's automatic speed control and the principles of AMT,the design of a microcontroller MC9S12C32 based AMT's TCU is introduced with detailed description of the minimal system,input channels and the motor drives.The strategy for the AMT's speed control is studied and discussed.Then the focus is put on the application and analysis of CAN interface with the AMT's TCU as the object.The fundamentals of CAN is presented in some detail,and the design of the CAN interface is described.CAN bus is one of the most widely applied field bus.This thesis introduces a design method to establish the automotive communication module based on a high-low speed CAN network.All the functions are implemented by making use of MC9S12DG128 microcontroller which is a high-low speed CAN network gateway,and finally achieving the implementation of data communication between AMT and other automotive electronic control systems.This thesis analyses and discusses the issues of hardware and software design in the vehicle control system.The hardware and software are exploited by means of universal modularized method.Under the condition of ensuring the function commands,the processes of hardware and software designing are simplified,developed periods is shorten and the cost of system is decreased.This makes great foundation for designing AMT.
