The Application Of OPC In Industry Control System

OPC(OLE for Process Control)which was put forward in solving communication between application software and various drives of devicesis an important industrial standard. OPC separates the work ofapplication software programmers with instrument manufactures, which makes the design work more efficient.Following this trend,a assemble line systerm was desgined based on OPC.At the begining of this paper,the car assemble line is introduced and the development of the car assemble line is predicted. The control system of the car assemble line is desgined and is briefly decribed. Then ,COM which is the base of OPC is introduced including the attritudes of COM,standard interfaces and the concept of COM object. Immediately next,OPC is introduced including the system structure of OPC,the definition of OPC interfaces,OPC communication,and programing OPC to accsess WinCC OPCServer by VC++6.0.Finally the DCOM configuration is introduced.At the assembly line system, OPC solves the problems in the communication ,and it implements the first self-developed automated assembly line in the anhui province,and gives a good application in the industry control.
