Design And Implementation Of General Examination Questions Pool Management System

For a long time, a regulated examination management system was absent in CHONGQING VOCATIONAL INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING. As a result, exam papers were free and complicated to organize, and it was hard to sum up and analysis the scores, so the seperation of teaching and evaluating was an illusion. Based on current situation, it is significant to explore an examination management system with the information technology, to promote an environmnet of fair competence and improve the course evaluation quality in departments and pedagogic assistant departments. And it means a lot for the development of nonpaper examination and construction of the national model higher institute.This research aims to develop an automatic, generalized and networked examination management system to meet the needs of teaching-evaluating seperation and non paper examination. The system can organize courses and examination items, construct an exam paper and mange the papaers, providing interface to network exam, exam monitoring, auto paper grading and score management,etc.It is developed with C#,SQL server 2005 and ASP.NET, integrating two structures: c/s and b/s.This paper shows characteristics of c/s mode and b/s mode, develops application of NET, tries to connect programmes and WORD, puts forward a discussion about linking databases with ADO.NET, designs the framwork and database structure of the examination management system, puts up system safety solutions and best-performance designs, and develops the examination management system that meets the needs pedagogic revolution in CHONGQING VOCATIONAL INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING.In this paper,1) Current situation and objective of examination management in CHONGQING VOCATIONAL INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING are analysed. The significance of exploring the general examination management is testified.2) Based on analysis of c/s and b/s modes, and according to actual condition in CHONGQING VOCATIONAL INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING, this research promotes a design which is constructed with both c/s and b/s, improving the efficiency with the storage process and index.3) The research deepens on NET technology, explores ways to access the database by way of ADO.NET, and ways to identify and authorize users by way of ASP.NET.4) This research explores the VBA technology, puts forward ways to input and output batch data with VBA technology, discusses ways to form a standard data exchange platform, and ways to facilitate the system more automatic, more generalized, more regulated and more interactive.5) The research puts forward a solution to safety mechanism and performance utilization of application system in the Internet environment.Characteristics mentioned above have been efficiently testified in the running period, providing reference to development of network examination system.
