To get the living environment of safety, comfortness, environment friendly and energy-saving is the main goal of building intelligentization. Automatic monitoring the environment in building is an effective means to appove this goal. Because of convenient network construction and maintenance, Wireless Sensor Networks have been widely used in environment monitoring fields. To enhance the level of intelligentization of environment monitoring in building, it is necessary to introduce WSN in intelligent building. With the development of wireless and embedded techniques, the application of WSN in Intelligent Building becomes possible. BACnet, as one of the ISO standards, is a leading protocol of building automation control networks in Intelligent Building. BACnet has defined a device type named B-SS (BACnet Smart Sensor) for WSN; however, there is no implementation program on B-SS till now. To resolve the integration problem between WSN and IPv6, 6LoWPAN working group in IETF put forwards a protocol called 6LoWPAN in 2007. Therefore, how to achieve the B-SS-based WSN and how to use 6LoWPAN to realize the inetrconnection between B-SS-based WSN and IPv6 network become two subjects to be resolved.This thesis firstly analyzed the system architecture, characteristics and applications of WSN and 6LoWPAN protocol. Second, the thesis made a study of object property and services set in BACnet standard. And then the thesis focused on analyzing the function of B-SS device in BACnet standard. Then the thesis designed object set and service set for B-SS and designed a suitable integrated model for 6LoWPAN protocol and BACnet protocol in B-SS device. In TinyOS2.0 environment, this thesis defined BssRPfunC component and BssC component which realize the function of BACnet protocol apply to B-SS device. This thesis achieved integration between 6LoWPAN protocol and BACnet protocol by calling IPC component of 6LoWPAN in BssC component. Finally, this thesis tested the integrated model based on a single B-SS device by TOSSIM, test results showed that BssRPfunC component and BssC component realized the BACnet protocol functions of B-SS device. One application scenarios consisted of several B-SS devices also had been tested by TOSSIM, test results showed that the BssC component of BACnet protocol and IPC component of 6LoWPAN protocol could work together in the integrated model. This thesis designed and realized one integration model between 6LoWPAN protocol and BACnet protocol in TinyOS2.0 environment, which provides a feasible way to realize the application of B-SS-based WSN in Intelligent Building. And this integration model also provides an effective solution for the interconnection between 6LoWPAN-based WSN and IPv6 network in Intelligent Building. Because TOSSIM testing tool can not completely simulate reality scenes, therefore, how to make this integration model successfully applied to realistic scenes becomes a problem to be solved in future.
