With the rapid growth of Internet, the structures of Internet namespaces are facing with new challenges. IP address is overloaded in semantics because it is used to represent both the location and the identity of a device. The namespace resolution system DNS can't satisfy many new application demands with its unique service model, slow update speed, and weak capability in resource description. Based on these, researchers bring forth many solutions to improve the Internet , such as lisp and hip protocol, but actually speaking they also have many problems. The conception of "Vector-Connection" and "Vector-Switching" is raised in the Vector-Net based on Vector-Address, by analyzing the social attribute of the network. It has fractal characteristic ,LocationID and EID separate with each other. It makes the network more effective, more secure ,and also solves the host-moving, multi-homing, dynamic address distribute and so on.This paper proposes a Location Architecture based on Vector-Address coding by splitting the namespace into two parts, EID and LocationID. We call it Vector-network Routing Architecture, it makes the Vector-Address as the virtual connection between the entitier of the Routing Architecture. By constituting OSPF and PNNI protocol, we designed a tree hierarchical structure for the Vector-network. This architecture has a tree hierarchical structure, and the information exchanging with each node, setup from bottom to top. The information exchange between high layer and low layer is across peer group leader in each layer. This tree hierarchical structure makes the network have good expansion, strong amalgamation, better adaptability and so on.
