A Study On Chen Duxiu's Journalism And Communication Thought

Chen Duxiu is the most controversial historical figure in Chinese modern history and the history of the Communist Party of China.He founded press thought course of the development, from "open their wisdom," to hold the great banner of democracy and science to promote the New Culture Movement.China's political culture had a significant impact on his philosophy and culture ,the style and idea of running a newspaper made a base for the party newspaper and official newspaper in the future.In this paper, Chen Duxiu tries to comb the newspapers of his practice activities under the background of the times for comments. Chen Duxiu understands the thinking of the source, and is familiar with the thinking of its journalism and commnication. The changing of Chen Duxiu's thought and the voice of the press are carried out in stages, generally can be divided into three phases, enlighting the people, and enlightenment in the New Culture Movement and the party newspapers and agencies reported activities.By familiarizing Chen Duxiu's the related works, state journalism and communication from freedom of speech, press to talk about politics, public opinion concept, functional education, business and professional ethics of quality, and so on. As Chen Duxiu and Mao Zedong are the Chinese leaders, they have paid great attention to the nature of the press and publicity activities, but because of their ideological specificity, the two are comparable. Hence, by the comparison of their thought, we can understand Chen Duxiu's thought of the personality characteristics better. It is right because of the controversy for Chen Duxiu, this paper summed up his personal achievements, and restores some real historical data, to conduct a fair assessment for Chen Duxiu and remode his historical status.
