Design And Realization Of The Intelligent Scanning System Of Maritime CCTV

VTS mainly uses radar to detect and track targets in order to achieve the regional monitoring.As CCTV has became an important part of VTS,especially the development of intellectualized CCTV,the intellectualized CCTV can be used to substitute for radar in achieving target intellectualized detection and tracking when radar's function is limited.In terms of the above thoughts,the intelligent technology can be researched based on maritime CCTV,and the following results are achieved in this thesis:(1) Video capture and display.In order to obtain the distribution of ships on the offing,the OPENCV(computer vision)is used to capture the target image and the singal frame image is displayed in real-time which can form the video stream.It will not only show the video stream image,but also conveniently make a real-time storage of the single frame goal images;Based on observing the distribution of the ship on sea surface, the PTZ rotational speed is controlled by the hand_setting in accordance with the showed video stream.(2) The extraction of the distribution parameters of the ship.we first extract the geometrical features of the ships by using the principle of pattern recognition.In according to geometrical features of the target image,the image is recognized.The process of recognition can be finished in two steps as follows:the one is the pretreatment of image.The edge profile of the target image can be obtained by the principle of pretreatment of edge detection.The other one is based on the maximum entropy threshold and the gradient.The ship-recognized technology which is based on the method of horizontal characteristic localization of the ship geometrical characteristic is established and the distributed parameters of ships can be extracted.(3) Digital PTZ intelligent scanning technology,this chapter includes two aspects: Firstly,the basic control technology of digital PTZ,through the analysis about PTZ agreements and communications technology,implement the all sizes control technology based on PZT,this part is about the manual control of PTZ rotation combined with video display.Secondly,the digital PTZ intelligent control technology,through the discussion about the restriction relationship between inner setting speed of PTZ and computer image processing capability,established the theoretical models with the distribution parameters of the ship and the speed of PTZ rotation,and ultimately established the rule relationship between them--the PTZ speed decreases regularly with the increasing the number of the target.Based on the above principles and algorithms,experiments have been done to distinguish the distributed parameters of the marine ships.In terms of recognition algorithm,the ships distribution parameter has provided the intellectualized support to realize the scanning technology of PTZ successfully.It is shown that,by experiments, the scanning technology with intellectualization in the thesis are real-timet and effective.
