Intelligent technique is the direction of development of vedio monitoring,while the detecting and tracking technology for the moving target is the important study of intelligent monitoring technique,as well as one of difficulties.The traditionally detecting and tracking algorithm for moving objects which is mainly based on the PC-algorithm model is short of practice,moreover, the tracking mainly refers to the locking of target on the screen or redraw of the moving trajectory, so the monitoring system would lose the track of the target when the moving target moves away from the monitoring vision.As the embedded DSP technology is growing mature day after day, developing the monitoring system with the ability to analyze the real-time scenes and track the objectives initiatively has become a research highlight in the monitoring field.With TI's DSP TMS320DM642 as the core,this thesis has discussed the application of detecting and tracking technology for moving targets in the embedded system,as well as designed and implemented a new intelligent monitoring system with self-tracking ability.Specific tasks are as follows:(1) Used of the development board SEED-VPM642,the overall structure of intelligent monitoring system based on TMS320DM642 has been designed,along with hardware such as DSP, video codec chips,PTZ,CCD camera etc.(2) A set of effectively detecting and tracking algorithm for moving object has been designed. This algorithm is able to carry out the moving detection by the improved calculus of difference along with the morphological processing,and calculate the rotating vector of PTZ according to the speed normalization for the application in the variable PTZ system so as to achieve the independently stably tracking for the moving object.(3) Based on the development board SEED-VPM642,the transplant of monitoring algorithm in DSP platform has been achieved under the compiler environment of CCS 2.2,meanwhile the test of video monitoring system and the analysis of relevant results have been conducted.
