Design And Implementation Of Office Automation System Based On Workflow Technology

With the rapid development of computer technology and network technology, in order to standardize the management and improve the operational efficiency of enterprises, more and more enterprises in china have construct their own Office Automation System , to achieve business process management, exchange and share information through network. Workflow technology is one of key technologies in the OA, through which achieve document delivery rapid and accurately between users in the office, convenient for document management, query and statistics, achieve office automation and efficient in enterprise eventually.This paper has the background of development and implementation of a special project, which based on Lotus Domino/ Notes development Platform. A kind of workflow that accorded with workflow characteristics of the company was studied and applied in OA system, which optimize the flow of enterprise management, realize synergy office and sharing information between departments of office, improve the operational efficiency of enterprises. The major work is summarized as follows:(1)On the foundation of analysis of the workflow technology including its origin, development, basic conceptions and reference model, this paper summarized the characteristic of the workflow of the enterprise, optimize and integrate it combine with workflow.(2)Studied Lotus Domino/Notes, one of groupware with mature technology of workflow, explained its support to workflow and OA system though analyzing its configuration of database and products, select Domino/Notes Web development as the develop platform of the OA, put forward architecture and functional structure of the OA system.(3)Analysis the demands of the OA system, designed a workflow system, which accorded to the characteristics of the enterprise. This system use domino designer as development kits, based workflow reference model put forward by Workflow Management Coalition.(4) Explained the realization of workflow designed above in OA system by taking the document-application flow as an example accord to the research results. Describe the workflow implement technology and steps in the OA system.(5)Finally, the conclusion and the developing trend were put forward.Workflow technology and its research and implement in OA system will improve office efficiency, it is more important practical significance to promote management level of the enterprise.
