Research On Heterogeneous CAD Integrated Platform Based On Agent

At the present time, various kinds of CAD is on the market. It's a common phenomenon that the interior or exterior of enterprises use different kinds of CAD. Different CAD system has its own unique data structure and information model which is only applicable to the interior data exchange system. A modern enterprise want to be dominant in the fierce market competition, it often makes an dynamic alliance with other enterprises. For this reason, it is a first question that how to effectively solve the heterogeneous CAD system collaboration and eliminate information islands with collaborative design using in the enterprise application. It not only doesn't affect the personalized development of various CAD systems but also make an collaborative design using different CAD systems. Therefore, the technologies of heterogeneous CAD integration platform based on Agent is researched in this paper.Based on the requirement of heterogeneous CAD integrated platform, the commonly used architecture of current heterogeneous CAD integrated platform is analyzed and the overall framework of heterogeneous CAD integrated platform based on Agent is given.On the basis of the flaws of data exchage methods between existing heterogeneous CAD systems analyzed, feature-mapping-based heterogeneous CAD data exchage methods is proposed. The method uses the combine of the feature-mapping and the neutral modeling command to achieve data exchange of heterogeneous CAD systems, and it has fully used the CAD system modeling's high level expression homoplasy, avoids the low part's data structure distinctness, realizes the interoperability between heterogeneous CAD systems.The key technologies which involved in heterogeneous CAD integrated platform is analysed in this paper, and mainly introduces technology of feature modeling command mapping, revision and deletion operation and so on. The heterogeneous CAD integrated platform is divided four module: hook function, the feature information parameters' gain and produce, information processing and communication Agent. Then gives a detail introduction of four modules and realization method.Finally, this paper has provided a collaborative design system model based on Pro/ENGINEER and SolidWorks.
