Research And Implementation Of XML Data Exchange Techniques In ChangXin E-Gov. System

No unified plans and design frames at the beginning of e-government system result the information sharing among departments difficulty. Information island phenomena become the barrier of information utilization. Developing heterogeneous data exchange techniques would be an effective way to solve this problem.According to the requirements of ChangeXin e-government system, the main goal is to solve the problem of data exchange under heterogeneous database environment. Firstly, it briefly introduces the present research situation of heterogeneous data exchange, the relevant techniques of XML in data exchange, and the characteristics and the difference between XML and relationship database as well as the difference between XML and document database in data schema aspect.Based on deeply analyzing the mapping method for current pattern, an exchange data method that named XML mapping document template is proposed. Structure and semantic definitions of the mapping documents are given through deeply analyzed. Then one method is proposed that it combines the unification table and the mapping table of data type. The transformation processing of similar semantic and attribute structure conflict class is also discussed. According to the heterogeneous data, the new mapping method of double schema driven for the heterogeneous data exchange is given. Compared with the single schema method, this method gains more flexibility, operability and the independence, in the realization of XML mapping rule and function of the off-line exchange. Analyzing and comparing the key techniques in the exchange process, it presents a detailed analysis and design of the exchange system. Finally, the system which utilizes the platform's security control mechanism and storage feature of document database is implemented under Domino platform.The exchange data system is of good extensibility through the mapping rules, can support effective exchange among various the heterogeneous data, and result in correct data format and semantics definition. The test result also shows this. This technique is used to solve the data exchange issues in ChangeXin e-government system.
