First of all,this paper summed up the relevant theory of vibration condition monitoring and analysis,introduced the structure of wind converter drive systems and the corresponding typical faults.The common fault diagnosis methods were studied and compared,and the Independent Component Analysis(ICA) and cepstrum fault diagnosis method were studied in detail which could provide theory basis for the development of the condition monitoring systems.Solutions of the wind turbine condition monitoring are discussed.This paper completed the design of hardware and software,including the selection and installation of sensors and the configuration of data acquisition card and the arrangement of wind turbine drive system measuring points.Virtual instruments of monitoring system were developed with LabVIEW8.2.The system features were as follows:data acquisition, data analysis,data storage,alarm and so on.Virtual instruments of monitoring system were easy to carry and use,with more functions,and easily customized,user-friendly interface,short development cycle,reflecting the superiority of the virtual instrument.
