Tire model has a crucial role in the simulation of vehicle dynamics.Tire model has a problem of a large parameters which lack enough physical meaning.To identify the whole model parameters in a suitable way is full of difficulty.This paper summarized different identification method in recent years,and studied the advantages and disadvantages of each way.This paper proposed the use of Excel which is a widely used in the range of office software applications for model parameter identification.The main purpose of this paper is to use this method to identify the parameters of the two tire models.The main content of this article is as follows:(1) Excel Solver's theoretical foundationFrom a wide range of office software applications from Excel to explain its internal Excel Solver add-in optimization and data-processing applications,the Excel Solver to optimize the field of application of the many advantages have been studied,in addition to the software environment of the Excel Solver and introduced the principle to solve,and finally give examples given Excel Solver optimization problem to deal with the specific steps of the tire model for the next chapter lay the foundation for parameter identification.(2) The research of MF-Tyre model parameter identificationBased on MF-Tyre the history of the emergence of the mode is summed up,the characteristics of the model,the model coordinate system,and the definition of model parameters and classification are studied.Introduced the MF-Tyre model tire principles of parameter identification,as well as the status of various work processes to identify,through a group of heavy vehicles UMTRI tire(Michelin 11R22.5 XZA) high-speed test data, combined with previous studies of the Excel Solver tire identification method parameters identification.First of all,in the case of pure longitudinal force to identify the parameters of the model also used the optimization toolbox of Matlab to identify,through comparison of two identification methods of research,and validated method has been applied to the tire model Solver parameter identification accuracy.Solver method combines the following pure condition and status of co-workers carried out the tire model parameters identification. Identification of the final results of residual analysis and total analysis of variance to verify the overall accuracy of the identification and recognition are given out the results of 78 model parameters.(3) The research of Uni-Tire model parameter identificationBased on Uni-Tire the history of the model is summed up,the characteristics of the model, coordinate system,the definition of model parameters and classification of in-depth research. Introduced the Uni-Tire tire model and parameter identification of the principle of the status of all work processes to identify,through a set of truck tires(11-20) test data,combined with vertical force Solver method of characteristic parameters,characteristic parameters of lateral force,torque is back characteristic parameters and roll characteristics of parameters(a total of 34 parameters) for the identification.Identification of the final results of the analysis accuracy is done.(4) Development of software Graphical user interface.The VBA in the Excel platform,the development platform based on Excel Tire model parameter identification software,the application of the software can model MF-Tyre tires of the six conditions,as well as parameter identification model Uni-Tire tire condition four parameter identification,software The results of the output interface,including the various working conditions the results of model parameter identification,model fitting the results of a six-play,as well as the results of the experimental data and calculation of the contrast map. And software can select the tire model and the corresponding operating conditions to identify the result.This Excel application to the identification of the tire model parameters,this method is simple and accurate tire model makes more comprehensive use of simulation in vehicle dynamics analysis will have broad application prospects.
