| This paper is based on the IEEE802.16 protocol which is established by the IEEE organizations. When the standard has been established and it's in the process of evolution, the organization WiMAX Forum came into being. Because of some IT giant's join, more and more companies became a member of the organization, then the organization became more huge. More of the organization certified products, as well as more large-scale commercial testing and deployment of WiMAX. WiMAX as a synonym for IEEE802.16 has gained recognition. Before real use, it needs to improve some. At present, QoS is the most popular direction. Many research institutions have invested a lot of energy, but due to geographical constraints and other factors, the simulation software has become a more actual research tools than network deployed. As a result , research institutions chose NS-2 and other simulation software.NS-2 is an open-source simulation software, and welcomed by the academic community. In this paper, on the basis of the WiMAX module added by NIST in the United States. The module is Compatible with the standard well, but does not have the function of QoS Emulation. So I extended QoS simulation features, and established a series of network topology and network business model. By QoS and mobile WiMAX simulation of some scenes, to verify and test WiMAX technology and performance, as well as get some useful data and conclusions which can by used in actual network business. The period when WiMAX develop and grow is also the period when a wide range of mobile communications technology co-existence. In the mobile communication technology, the quality of user experience (QoE) is a relatively very new introduction. Recently, research institutions and operators have attached importance to the research of QoE. Before wimax technology used in widespread field, this research is essential. In this paper, through the introduction of mobile communication system and the concept of QoE, combined with the characteristics of WiMAX, do some research and analysis on the WiMAX QoE. |
