| Information visualization is a new field of informatics,it is a brand-new way,provide efficient approach for users to get information what he needs conveniently.At present, academia put forward knowledge organizing tools for information visualization includes topic map and ontology.Every international Literature taxonomy(such as UDC,DDC,CLC),categorize the topic concept of information resources,use different codes to express the sort of different kinds of information resources.Because ontology has nice hiberarchy of conception and sustain the logic reasoning,can describe the attribute,relation and classification of everything,and includes a lot of nomenclature,it is suitable to be a testing tool to visualize the classification.Whereas《Chinese Library Classification》(CLC) has universality at home,if visualization of CLC come true,it will be great help to classifying and cataloguing and various type of information searching systems with doing the classification.This paper review its development and application in network environment first,aim at the deficient representation of traditional Literature classification,based on the study on ontology,a simple query system is designed and realized.In this system,accomplishes the curatorial category of The《Chinese Library Classification》(2307 categories in all)by an ontology editing tool—Protégé,then W3C standard OWL is choosed as the OWL description language,RDF/RDFS is the semantic labeling language,and by Java to exploit, Jena is as the main tool to memory and reasoning ontology files.At last Viewdata query system of curatorial category is successfully implemented.This paper put forward a designment of information visualization of《Chinese Library Classification》,for the first time realize the basic categories of CLC as study object,aim at implement the system of categories,construct a ontology of describing the information of this field,by continually reasoning and debugging,make the visualized query system of CLC categories come true. |
