Automatic Target Recognition has been a quite active research field, in light of its significance in various aspects. An exhaustive radar target database has to be established, in order to verify or to construe methods for Automatic Target Recognition. However, the collection for Radar data is in shortage at present. And the collected ones are highly confidential to the public. With the development of simulation technology, the Electromagnetic Scattering Analysis of radar target by computer simulation has come to be a practical means.Adopting finite element method and physical optics method as the theoretical foundation,this paper studies and verifies a method of predicting signals of Radar target scattering cross section based on the electromagnetic simulation tool FEKO,and studies the methods of data integration between feko and ansys.Whereas broadband data of radar plays an important role on radar target recognition,with two types of ground target as the simulation examples, this paper studies the method of building Bistatic broadband data of the ground target use FEKO,and an algorithm based on genetic algorithm for target classification is explored initially.Finally,taking FEKO as basis,this paper designs a framework of the ground target-recognition simulation system.
