Today,the hot areas of wireless communication concentrate on bedrooms,offices,halls and other indoor scenarios.Data show that the indoor scenario data traffic accounted for 70%at least.What's more,with the arrival of mobile internet era,the indoor scenario data traffic is growing more obvious.So it is important to study indoor mobile communication system.Indoor scenarios are different from outdoor scenarios.Compared with outdoor scenarios in village and suburb,indoor scenarios are closed and narrow.Moreover,compared with lots of moving cars and people exist in outdoor scenarios,less moving objects exist in indoor scenarios.So the channel characteristics of indoor scenarios and outdoor scenarios are very different,which means that it is necessary to study the channel characteristics of indoor scenarios separately.The traditional research mechanism of wireless channel is generally based on the actual channel measurements.This thesis is based on FEKO,an integrated electromagnetic simulation software,and studies the channel characteristics of small scale fading,delay profile,angular spectrum and so on,which has the advantages of low cost,parameters controlling and easy implementing.The main content of this thesis are as follows:(1)Introduce the traditional research mechanism of wireless channel,according to which compare the advantages and disadvantages between the actual measurement and FEKO simulation.The feature of this thesis isstudying the wireless channel characteristics based on FEKO simulation rather than traditional channel measurement.(2)Select four kinds of typical indoor scenarios(corridor scenario,turn scenario,office scenario,combination scenario of corridor and office),after which obtain the distribution small scale fading followed in corresponding indoor scenario with three kinds of test methods(K-S test,?2 test,AD test)via field intensity based on FEKO simulation.Study changing situation of distribution parameters in different scenarios,different frequencies and different locations,after which give suggest about fading margin in each scenario.(3)Verify the feasibility of delay characteristics research of radio wave propagation based on FEKO via a simple two-way model.Select four kinds of typical indoor scenarios,after which obtain PDP,average delay and RMS delay spread of corresponding scenario via the S21 parameter based on FEKO simulation.Finally research on the influence of two factors,that.the distance between TX and RX and center frequency,on the delay characteristics of indoor scenario.(4)Introduce the MVDR algorithm for azimuth power spectrum estimation.Then verify the feasibility of azimuth power spectrum estimation with two simple models of single path LOS and single path NLOS based on FEKO simulation.Select two kinds of typical indoor scenarios,after which obtain the azimuth power spectrum of corresponding scenario via the S21 parameter based on FEKO simulation.Then analyze the angular spectrum characteristics based on azimuth power spectrum,including number of clusters and corresponding power ratio,angle of arrival,angle of departure,azimuth power spectrum and following distribution,angle spread and so on.The research results of this thesis can be used in the communication system designing and network deployment for the corresponding indoor scenario.
