Research And Implementation Of Data Communications And Control Technology Based On VxWorks

This paper studies the application of the embedded operating system VxWorks in the ELMC data communications and control system. To improve real time, reliability and accuracy of the system, a design scheme of the system based on VxWorks and MPC8245 is proposed in this paper.Firstly, the development actuality and prospect of the embedded operation system is introduced. The structure characteristics, principles and applications of embedded operation system VxWorks are also researched in the paper. The structure and the hardware environment of the ELMC data communications and control system based on VxWorks are expatiated. Then, in-depth study of Board Support Package (BSP) of the transplanting, the paper focuses on the external device driver process, such as serial port, network port, AD acquisition card, and so on. Finally, the application software development is accomplished with the modular design combined with multitask. By testing, test results show that the system achieved the required functions.
