The Design And Implementation On The Embedded Information Processing Platform Based On Vxworks And Mpc860T

Nowadays, it is certain that the new generation train will follow the trend of high-speed and automation. As the combination of train control, failure monitor and process of passenger service information, TCN (Train Communication Network) is the key technology in the control system of high-speed electrical train. So there is no doubt that the devices conforming to the international standard of TCN will have a very promising future. This Paper focuses on the development of the embedded system, based on the Motorola MPC860T communication processor and embedded real-time operation system Vxworks. This study is of great significance for breaking the monopolizing of the technology of TCN Gateway abroad and enhancing the country's development in the field of train network.After the further study of the MPC860T processor and VxWorks embedded operating system, the Vxworks is successfully ported to the platform based on the MPC860T processor, through the customization of Board Support Package. And the design of the boot loader is also introduced, which sets the proper condition for the running of Vxworks and application. Meanwhile the debugging methods of BSP in detail are also mentioned.According to the need of the TCN Gateway, this paper has studied the architecture of VxWorks driver, and finished the design of the following driver: 4 high speed serial communication driver, Does + TrueFFFS file system, 10M Ethernet, the interface of WTB/MVB, TFTP server and real-time clock based on I2C. This paper particularly discusses the aspects of function requirement, hardware design and software design as well as the hardware frame and software flow chart.The platform based on VxWorks and MPC860T has offered an embedded system solution for the TCN Gateway, it can also be used in the field of wireless network gateway, embedded Internet server, etc.
